As National Sales Director of Life Insurance, he grew financial professional premiums by over 20% in four years. He holds a bachelor of business degree from the University of Phoenix and is currently working on his BFA designation.

David and his wife, Erika, have two children. He serves the community by doing non-profit work focused on helping single fathers. A golf enthusiast, he spends his leisure time on the course and also likes watching football. When time permits, David enjoys woodworking and refurbishing antique furniture.

David’s annuity wholesaling experience spans two decades. He began his career with ING (Voya) and spent the last seven years with Global Atlantic Financial Group. During his tenured career, David raised more than $2 billion in annuity premiums throughout his managed territories. 

Originally from eastern Pennsylvania, David now resides near Indianapolis, IN, with his wife, Laura, and two teenage boys. They enjoy participating together in 5 and 10K runs and the friendly competition that it brings. He also enjoys golf, traveling and cooking obscure and interesting recipes that never taste as good as they sound.

Ron attended Robert Morris University of Chicago where he earned a BS in Accounting. 

Born and raised in Chicago, Ron currently lives in Plainfield, Illinois with his wife and son. He is very active in his church and mentors young men and women in the financial services industry through the Association for Wholesaling Diversity. He also served as Senior VP of Sales with Pacific Life, Ameritas and Lincoln Benefit Life, and graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelors of Science degree.

Brian and his wife, Deb, have three adult children. Free time is often spent with them and their families, and they also enjoy spending time at their second home in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Brian lives in Atlanta with his wife, Bethany. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, Florida vacations with his family and all things Philly sports.

Julie worked for the organization from 1997 to 2009 in a variety of roles including financial analyst to fixed income and trading specialist. She returned in 2014 in her current position. Her 20-year financial career has included work for Thrivent Financial and John Deere. Julie has a bachelor’s degree in business from Wartburg College in Waverly, IA.

She has received Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) and Associate, Customer Service (ACS) designations from LOMA and has an Iowa Life & Health Insurance license.

Julie spends as much free time as possible with her family. She is dedicated to partnering with financial professionals to help them build their businesses through sales ideas, case design, product and industry knowledge and practice management.

Nick joined TruStage in 2021 as a hybrid wholesaler and has been in the financial services industry for nearly a decade selling annuities and mutual funds. He started his career with Pacific Life in Omaha, Nebraska. Before joining TruStage he was with Transamerica in Denver, Colorado. He graduated from Iowa State University with a Business Management degree, along with minors in Finance and Marketing.

Nick is passionate about his family. He and his wife Emily have a daughter and son. In his free time, Nick enjoys socializing with family and friends, spending time outdoors, and cheering on his favorite sports teams.

Nick is dedicated to being a first-class extension to his financial professionals and their practice. His goal is to help grow their business while helping their clients invest with confidence. With 16 years in the financial services industry, Marc has experience with managed money, SMAs, 401(k)s and annuities. Prior to TruStageTM, Marc held regional vice president roles with firms like Transamerica and Equitable. He attended the University of the Pacific.

Marc spends most of his free time with his wife, Carly, and two children. They stay busy with their kids’ sports and activities schedule. They also enjoy getting up to the mountains – hanging out in the summer and skiing in the winter.

In the last 10 years, Marc has spent over 10,000 hours directly working with financial professionals and their clients. He helps financial professionals grow their business through proven approaches. He can help with marketing for new client acquisition or help reduce stress and improve the existing client experience.

Julie joined TruStage in 2020 as Head of Internal Sales. She brings with her 12 years of industry experience in the financial services in both the retail and wholesale capacity including advising, wholesaling and sales leadership. Julie earned her MBA in Finance from the University of Colorado Denver. She also holds her Behavioral Financial Advisor (BFA) designation.

Julie lives in the Tampa Bay area where she stays active year round in the Florida sunshine on the ocean in her kayak or paddle board or exploring the trails on her bike. She also volunteers for and sits on the Board of Directors for Girls on the Run Greater Tampa Bay.

Darryl joined TruStageTM in June 2023 with over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. He previously worked as a wholesaler for a small boutique independent marketing organization. Prior to that, he was with Prudential annuities for nearly 20 years in various roles including internal wholesaler, business development and national account manager, overseeing wires, banks and independent relationships.

Outside of work, Darryl and his wife, Amy, enjoy attending their three teenage kids’ sporting events, jumping from soccer fields to baseball diamonds to volleyball courts. He also enjoys golfing, working out and eating local cuisine like lobster rolls and hot dogs.

By listening to advisors’ needs, keeping an open mind and helping guide them to the best solutions available, Darryl’s goal is free up their time so they can help clients meet their financial goals.

He has a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Middle Tennessee State University.

In his free time, Andrew enjoys spending time with family and friends. He, his wife and three kids love to play sports, camp and be outside.

Andrew finds joy helping financial professionals grow their practices, while serving clients at the highest level possible. He does this by connecting on the things that matter most to his business partners and their clients. In his free time, Winston enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling. He was born and raised in Colorado and takes advantage of the many outdoor activities the state has to offer, such as hiking, fishing, hunting and camping. While not outdoors, Winston appreciates spending time with family and friends. He is an avid CU Buff fan and loves supporting his alma mater.

Russ joined the organization after a successful tenure at New York Life. There, Russ began as an agent working with entrepreneurs and families to develop financial plans, eventually earning a promotion to partner after just two years. His work shifted focus toward building a diverse team of agents and financial professionals who brought different perspectives to the field. Before his professional achievements, Russ graduated at the top of his class from Humber College with a recreation management degree, then followed up with an education in the Economics department at the University of Toronto.

Russ spends much of his free time with his family: his wife Courtney, two children, three dogs and two cats. He can be found toiling in the kitchen working on new recipes, exercising his green thumb in the garden or slapping pucks on the ice with one of his two hockey teams.

Shawn started with the organization in 2016, where he worked at the call center, assisting customers and financial professionals with life insurance, annuity and retirement products. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Wartburg College.

Shawn and his wife have a son and daughter and enjoy spending their free time with them — either at the pool in the summer or sledding in the winter. Shawn was born and raised in Waverly, so they also spend time with family there as well. Shawn also enjoys playing Texas Hold ‘em, staying up late watching TV with his wife and making it to a Minnesota Vikings game once or twice a year.

Shawn believes that positivity is contagious, so he always tries to start out his conversations on the right foot; answering the phone with a smile and thanking the advisor or support role for everything they do. He believes it’s important to really listen to the advisor and get a clear picture of what they are looking for before diving into the different ways he can help them.

Outside of work, Steven enjoys spending time with his fiancé’s family, especially the seven grandkids. He also enjoys attending live music and sports events and golfing with his fiancé.

A relationship-driven professional, Steven thrives on getting to know his financial professionals and working with them to help their clients. His presentation skills have been a long-time strength. Steven’s primary goal is to become a partner, not a product pusher.
